Alnwick castle,as it was used as the setting for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films.

Admission fee: adult 10.5 pounds, sthdents 9 pounds

Inside doesn't deserve the 9 pound-value, even outside.

I was disappointed. However, the weather was brilliant and friends came with me which made me feel better.

From Leeds to Bamburgh(near newcastle) was 3hours by coach. we didn't visit the inside(it costs 7 pounds ),but we went around the castle. Nearby castle, there is a Bamburgh beach which sand duns and rock pool at low tide. Aditionally, the Bamburgh Village was greeat. The whole village showed clam and classical atmosphere. The lovely weather was very good for picnic.  Other photos please see my photo album.
